PROMOTING AND PROTECTING FORB: A UN FOCUS

The United Nations takes a central role in fostering the liberties of religion or belief (FoRB) worldwide. Through diplomatic approaches, the UN aims to protect that individuals and groups have the ability to exercise their convictions freely and free from coercion. Moreover, the UN offers support to states in developing their legal and institutio
